The S.T.O.P.P.E.D. Program
● SADD sponsored this program after their Awareness Week. The S.T.O.P.P.E.D. program is aimed at educating the young drivers directly through both lecture and innovative hands on activities as an effort to reduce the number of young drivers involved in motor vehicle crashes. The acronym stands for Sheriffs Telling Our Parents & Promoting Educated Drivers. The second aspect of the S.T.O.P.P.E.D. program is an educational component aimed at teaching young drivers the consequences of driving while under the influence of alcohol.
