Riverhead High School Graduation 2016
Change, Finding a Direction in Life, and Being Kind
(June 25, 2016) Riverhead High School celebrated graduation at McKillop Memorial Athletic Field under clear skies with a slight breeze, which made the day almost perfect for sitting out in the sun for almost two hours.

memorable metaphor for life.
Student Body President Courtney Trojan did a great job of outlining all of the changes and improvements at the high school as a result of the building process. It became obvious that the Class of 2016 will long remember the building process as part of their high school experience (as all of the student speakers commented on it). It became a metaphor for the changes in their own lives. Superintendent Nancy Carney counseled the graduates to make "kindness" a part of their journey through life. |
