Crazy Sports Night 2017
(March 10, 2017) THE SIXTH ANNUAL CRAZY SPORTS NIGHT was ONCE AGAIN a big success. The crowd was impassioned and the teams were almost amazing!
This evening of mayhem is sponsored by the PTO Executive Council. Principal Dave Densieski did an outstanding job as referee, while Doc Greenberger kept the crowd cheering as Master of Ceremonies. The crowd watched in wonder as their favorite team came onto the floor in colorful T-shirts as their theme song blared out over the loudspeaker. Team entrances were enthusiastic and dance-oriented and the crowd loved it. This was followed by relays, races, amazing athletic acumen, and the highlight of the evening--the HUNGRY HIPPO competition. (See bottom.) Intermission was almost as exciting as the games. The Blue Masques gave the audience a preview of their spring musical, HAIRSPRAY, which is scheduled for April 1st and 2nd. |
Congratulations, Pulaski Street School, this year’s Crazy Sports Night Champions!!! Thanks to all who participated, volunteered or came to cheer on their team. This night could not be so successful without all of your continued support. Final tally: $6092 was raised at Crazy Sports Night. Alice McKillop, PTO Executive Council
Pulaski took home the trophy, scoring 28 points, with Aquebogue coming in second at 25 points. Phillips and Riley tied for third place with 23 points each, followed by Roanoke (21) and the middle school (20).
